Snoozeshade makes primetime TV appearance

Snoozeshade founder Cara Sayer made her primetime TV debut last week, appearing on the BBC’s popular magazine programme The One Show regarding Aldi’s recent copycat product.

This oppoprtunity to set the record straight followed a month of incredible exposure for Cara and the Snoozeshade brand, which had also been featured on Channel 5 News and ITV News, as well in The Independent, The Sun, BBC, The Daily Mail and many other media outlets.

The show saw Cara and presenter Matt Allwright interviewing members of the public to get their opinion on the copycat product and to compare the almost identical packaging.

‘The support I have experienced from friends, colleagues and press has been overwhelming and it was an absolute honour to appear on The One Show,” said Cara. ” It is a real shame Aldi felt it was ok to blatantly copy my innovation, but I am just pleased that I was able to share my story and get the truth out to a lot of parents.”

She added: “I hope that by raising awareness of this issue, it will make them realise that they cannot get away with copying the designs of small business.”
