Rockit to champion exporting on DIT webinar

Nursery brand Rockit will be taking part in a Parliamentary Export Programme webinar, led by the Department of International Trade (DIT) and championing export from within the UK.

Last year Rockit was appointed as an Export Champion by the Department for International Trade and featured in the ‘Exporting is GREAT’ campaign.

There is plenty of help and funding available to small British brands looking to export their products around the world and the nursery brand is now using its own experiences to let other businesses know what advice and grants are available.

“Rockit have received ongoing advice and grant funding from the DIT to make Rockit a success around the world,” said Rockit’s founder Matt Dyson. “I have been invited to tell our story on a Parliamentary Export Programme webinar, which will be hosted by Dr Liam Fox MP.”

The one-hour webinar will take place at midday on Thursday 11 February, including updates from HMRC and DIT on the trading opportunities and funding available.

Panellists will also include an international trade adviser and export finance expert. These sessions are relevant to all nursery businesses, whether they have never exported before, exported in the past or are a current exporter.
