Manufacturer of children’s sleep products, Rockit, is a South West finalist in the FSB Celebrating Small Business Awards in the International Business of the Year category.
The high profile FSB Celebrating Small Business Awards is the largest event of its kind in the small business calendar and this year had more entries than ever before.
Celebrating the achievements and contributions of small businesses and the self employed across the UK, the awards are open to all. Winners from each category secure a spot at the UK final and a chance to be crowned the UK Small Business of the Year, offering widespread recognition.
Judged by a panel of leading business experts with a wealth of experience in their industry, the South West winners will be announced at a ceremony on 2 March, 2022 in Weston-Super-Mare, and the UK final will take place on 19 May 2022 at the Radisson Blu Hotel in Glasgow.
Matt Dyson, co-founder at Rockit, said: “We are really excited that our export success has been recognised by the judges. International sales are vital to the continued growth we are experiencing at Rockit.
“Exporting products has been particularly challenging in the last 12 months, with the combined effects of Brexit and soaring shipping costs, so to be recognised in this way is fantastic. We are really looking forward to attending the finals in March.”
Matt and co-founder Nick Webb were also named South West Start-up Entrepreneurs of the Year at the recent Great British Entrepreneur Awards in London.
