Rainbow Designs inks strategic distribution partnership with Tikiri Toys

Rainbow Designs is joining forces with Sri Lankan family run toy company, Tikiri Toys, to offer its product line-up as part of a new distribution partnership.

Tikiri’s range of infant toys and nursery essentials further expands and enhances Rainbow’s comprehensive offering to the nursery sector.

Tikiri means ‘precious little one’ in the native Sinhalese language, with the products handcrafted and made in Sri Lanka.

Available from spring 2025, the Tikiri My First Safari collection includes organic rubber tethers and comforters, created from the latex of the Hevea tree and cotton materials. There is also an extensive range of classic Bonikka soft dolls (pictured).

“We are thrilled to be partnering with this unique family-grown business and renowned lifestyle brand,” commented Anthony Temple, md at Rainbow Designs. “The Tikiri Toys brand ethos is to build friends for life with handmade, high quality products, which not only echoes our Rainbow Core Values, but what our customers have come to expect from us.”

Saroj Perera, md at Tikiri Toys, continued: “Our toys are crafted to provide a multi-sensory play experience. Collaborating with occupational therapists, we ensure that our designs and materials create a truly unique experience. Our partnership with Rainbow Designs reflects our commitment to making this enriching play experience accessible to more customers across the UK.”

Rainbow Designs will be showcasing its full 2025 collection, including the new Tikiri Toys Collection, at the London Toy Fair, Spring Fair and Spielwarenmesse.
