Progressive Preschool Awards Product category finalists share their joy

Having revealed the finalists in the prestigious Product categories for the Progressive Preschool Awards 2021 earlier this month, some of the shortlisted companies have been sharing their excitement with PreschoolNews.net.

Liz Ireland, md of Bigjigs – which is nominated for Best STEM/Educational Range for its Makedo Construction Toys and Best Preschool Gift Range for Bigjigs Construction Train Set – commented: “Bigjigs Rail is a very important category for us and we are delighted the flagbearer set within the Construction theme is a finalist in the Progressive Preschool Awards.

“Likewise, Makedo, the most recent of distribution brands to Bigjigs Toys, has been nominated as a finalist in these prestigious Awards. Both toys offer excellent play value and we are hopeful of them doing well in the next stage of the process.”

Moving into the Best Infant Development Range, and Taf Toys Savannah Adventures Collection is among the nominees. Halilit’s national account manager, Amy Wildman, told PreschoolNews.net: “We’re absolutely thrilled to see the latest Taf Toys Collection – Savannah Adventures – shortlisted for the best Infant Development range.

“Taf Toys work extremely hard to ensure that their product development appeals to both parents and babies alike, offering developmental opportunities wrapped up in stylish designs alongside commercially appealing gift packaging, and it’s great to see the range being recognised by buyers for its adorable designs and play value. We’ve got our fingers crossed for the awards ceremony!”

Nivi Bhide, director of marketing Europe at Infantino, is “thrilled” that the company has been shortlisted in two categories – Best Infant Development Range and Best Preschool Essentials Range.

“I am thrilled to hear we have been shortlisted for not one, but two categories,” enthused Nivi. “The Flip 4-in-1 Light & Airy Convertible Carrier has been such a success since its launch earlier this year, so it is no surprise it has been recognised as a great carrier. As well as the 3-in-1 Grow with Me Tummy Time Piano, which is always a firm favourite for keeping little ones entertained. We can’t wait to see if we win – it would be an honour to scoop an accolade from such prestigious awards!”

Sophia Procter, ceo and founder of Munchy Play, is also basking in the glow of a nomination in the Best Kids Lifestyle Range category.

“We are thrilled to be shortlisted for Best Kids’ Lifestyle Range in the Progressive Preschool Awards 2021, which is always a highlight in the calendar,” she commented. “Our new Thomas & Friends Collection has been a huge hit with families, and we’re delighted to be recognised for the love and thought we put into creating it.”

The Progressive Preschool Awards 2021 will be taking place on Thursday 11 November at the Grosvenor House Hotel, London.
