PPS Awards 2018: Final call for Retail Award nominations

There are just two weeks left if you would like to nominate your favourite retailer into one of the retail categories at The Progressive Preschool Awards 2018 – the trade awards for the toy, nursery and preschool product and retail sector.

oie_transparent (1)Now in their sixth year, the PPS Awards are totally free to enter and recognise excellence in product, retailing and marketing right across the preschool sector.

Retailers are the life-blood of the preschool sector, whether they are major, online or independent stores. The PPS Awards champion these retailers and celebrate their successes. Retailers may nominate themselves, or be nominated by suppliers and all submissions must be received by Friday 3 August 2018.

The retail categories for 2018 are:

  • Best Supermarket Retailer of Preschool Products
  • Best Multiple Retailer of Preschool Products
  • Best Mixed Retailer Retailer of Preschool Products
  • Best Department Store Retailer of Preschool Products
  • Best Online Retailer of Preschool Products
  • Best Preschool Retail Initiative
  • Best Independent Nursery Retailer
  • Best Independent Apparel Retailer
  • Best Independent Toy Retailer
  • Best Independent Gift Retailer

Previous winners have included A3 Baby Barn, JoJo Maman Bebe, Kids Stuff Toys, John Lewis and Nature’s Purest.

Accepting the award for last year’s win, Frances Bishop, owner of The Pud Store, said; “It’s no secret that retail is competitive, so to be told by industry experts that you’re going in the right direction means the absolute world. The PPS Awards are seriously valued by my suppliers, so it’s great to be endorsed in this way.”

If you’re a retailer and are proud of your performance in the preschool space over the past year, or you are a supplier who has seen the extra efforts your retailers have put in to driving the category forward, there is still time to enter into the Progressive Preschool Awards. Details on how to submit your free entry are included on this form. All submissions must be received by Friday 3 August 2018.
