Company creating bespoke idents for channel’s coveted 5-7pm evening slot.
Playmobil has teamed up with Nick Jr. for its latest entertainment partnership, with the company creating bespoke idents for the coveted 5-7pm evening slot on the channel.
The ad placements will appear on Nick Jr. and Nick Jr. Too as part of its sponsorship of Playful Evenings on Nick Jr.
The partnership is the latest in a number of UK broadcast campaigns for the brand, including a summer-long partnership with The Club with Bex, which runs 4-7pm on Fun Kids Radio. The hand-picked partnerships form an integral part of Playmobil’s commitment to retailers, as well as its expansion into the entertainment space.
“Our intention is to provide retailers with support via a comprehensive and targeted advertising programme, that also reaffirms our position as a much loved and well-respected entertainment brand,” explained Jamie Dickinson, marketing and display manager for Playmobil UK. “We have really enjoyed working alongside Nick Jr. and we look forward to seeing how the idents are received by the channel’s viewers across the UK.”
Virginia Monaghan, vp marketing, commercial and events, Nickelodeon UK and Northern and Eastern Europe, added: “Our partnership with Playmobil is a perfect fit for the Nick Jr. brand – they embody our fun-loving and adventurous values and we look forward to launching the sponsorship across the channel.”
The latest partnership from Playmobil UK coincides with a period of significant growth for the brand. The company’s recent new product launches include Tiny Paws Pet Hotel, Summer Villa and the Space Mission to Mars (pictured) range. Fans are also gearing up for the launch of the much-anticipated Playmobil: The Movie, which will introduce the brand to a new generation of families.
