Playmobil begins Christmas countdown with advent calendar line

Four new calendars to launch for 2020’s festive period including a range of gifts behind each door.

Playmobil has begun the countdown to Christmas, unveiling four new advent calendar designs.

Suitable for children aged from four, behind every door is a gift – from figures and animals to vehicles and accessories – providing children with 24 days of entertainment during the lead up to the big day. Once all the surprises have been discovered, the box folds open into a backdrop to complete the scene.

Retailers will be able to stock the Christmas Toy Store, an advent calendar designed on the magic of Christmas and set inside a festive toy shop; Farm, which offers youngsters the chance to look after the animals across the Christmas period; Pirate Cove Treasure Hunt, where the remote island and the treasure is guarded by a cannon and a host of creatures; plus Battle for the Magic Stone, which provides everything needed for the ultimate adventure in the kingdom of Novelmore.
