Peter Rabbit hops in to raise more funds for GOSH

Enesco expanding charity line with two new products after initial success.

Enesco is launching two new Peter Rabbit products this month in partnership with Great Ormond Street Hospital Children’s Charity.

The new products are a development of the Peter Rabbit charity range originally launched by Enesco in 2016, which raised over £13,000 for GOSH Charity.

The products are designed by GUND and feature a special pattern created by children cared for at GOSH. A proportion of money from sales will be donated to GOSH Charity to support seriously ill children from across the UK who are cared for at the hospital.

New for 2018 are a Peter Rabbit plush sporting a vintage doctor’s bag, designed as a tribute to the care provided to children at GOSH since the hospital opened in 1852. Only 500 are available as part of a limited edition run.

There is also a Peter Rabbit Doctor’s Bag which includes a stethoscope, a thermometer, a medical bottle, and a miniature Peter Rabbit figurine.

The project is a partnership between Enesco, Frederick Warne & Co. (an imprint of Penguin Random House UK) and Silvergate (the licensing agent for the Peter Rabbit brand). For every toy sold, a donation will be made to the charity by all three partners.

Jacqui Segal, deputy director of corporate partnerships at GOSH Charity, said: “We are thrilled to be working with Enesco on the expansion of the Peter Rabbit charity range.

“The products have proved very popular and it’s exciting to see how the latest additions are building on this success. We’re grateful for all the money Enesco has helped raise, which will make a big difference to children cared for at GOSH.”
