Orange Tree Toys readies spring/summer 2019 launches

Company will expand its Flamingo and Unicorn lines, plus introduce a new Dinosaur extension.

Orange Tree Toys is gearing up to launch three new character concepts for spring/summer 2019.

The company – which has seen year on year growth in both its domestic and international markets – will launch a range based on its popular Dinosaur character, as well as extended ranges focused on its Flamingo and Unicorn characters, both of which arrived in Push Along format earlier this year.

In addition to this, a new Animal Pirates range will be introduced. New products will also join some of the company’s existing concepts with new musical instruments and vehicles arriving early in the year.

The extensions and new launches come on the back of a successful 2018 for the company.

Mike Hartshorn, head of sales at Orange Tree Toys, explained: “We have invested heavily in product development this year and have worked hard to ensure that our customers have access to a constant flow of new products.

“Peter Rabbit continues to go from strength to strength, it is a classic evergreen nursery character and so is a perfect fit for us.”

Mike continued: “Our educational and development products have also been very strong this year with our iconic Crocodile Alphabet Puzzle still being our number one best selling product. Due to the continued popularity of this product we developed a full range around the character at the start of this year and that has seen several of its sister products, especially the Crocodile Number Puzzle, Crocodile Abacus and Crocodile Xylophone (pictured) return some really strong numbers.”
