Popular nursery stalwart Paul Sirett has launched a new business specially designed to offer quality, flexible sales resources to the nursery industry.
Paul – who brings with him 20 years of experience from brands including Mamas & Papas, BeSafe, Lego and Brio – has launched Selling Solutions to allow retailers and brands to take on additional staff at busy or demanding times.
The new service allows employees to meet their fluctuating staff needs, by providing a network of associates who are all experienced in the nursery trade as both retailers and suppliers. They may be needed for instore training, baby shows, retailer events or new product launches.
“I have been developing this idea for a number of years now,” explained Paul. “At the time I was working in a small sales and marketing team which was facing growing but irregular demands on our time from events such as new product launches, retailer events and all the baby shows.”
He continued: “However, nursery is not an ‘easy sell’ so brands and retailers needed to be able to call on temporary additional staff with nursery experience – Selling Soultions now delivers that service.”
The response so far has been very positive and so the company is already looking for more associates – who must have relevant nursery or toy experience – to add to its books.
