Epoch has revealed the official trailer for the first feature-length Sylvanian Families movie, giving fans a sneak peek at what they can expect when it premieres on 4 April.
The family friendly animation includes a host of much-loved characters from the world of Sylvania and introduces Big Brother Bruce.
Produced by Japanese animation studio Frebari alongside the ‘Sylvanian Families the Movie’ Production Committee, the movie is based on an original concept by Epoch. The story takes place in the village of Sylvania, where Freya, a Chocolate Rabbit girl, tackles two tasks for the Star Festival: picking the Tree of the Year and finding a birthday gift for her mother.
“We are thrilled to be able to give UK fans a first look at the Sylvanian Families movie ahead of its Easter release,” commented Phil Hooper, md at Epoch Making Toys. “The initial response has been overwhelmingly positive and we’re confident families are going to love the sweet story which features so many of the beloved characters! It’s a perfect way to kick start what is a very exciting year for the brand as we gear up for its 40th anniversary celebrations this autumn.”
