New kid friendly tablet range takes a bow

Digital Goals collaborates with Disney to bring key franchises to the kids’ tablet market.

A new range of kids tablets will be hitting the market next year from Digital Goals.

The company will initially be offering a range of 7″ Android tablets under its Pebble Gear label to customers across EMEA.

Available from February, the range consists of a Disney-Pixar Toy Story 4 tablet and a Frozen 2 tablet, both aimed at children aged from three years.

The tablets have been specifically designed to allow children to access digital content safely and securely including branded games, e-books and educational apps – all free from in-app purchases and unwanted pop-ups.

The device also comes with full parental control and allows access to a further 500+ games and apps free for the first 12 months.

“We are very proud to announce this collaboration with Disney,” said Neil Meredith, director of Digital Goals. “From our market studies and consumer focus groups, we have seen there is a genuine concern for many parents in this new digital world of trying to find a balance between allowing their kids access to digital content for fun and education whilst ensuring their safety.

“Our specifically developed and curated content within a closed architecture overcomes many of those fears for parents and kids alike.”
