UK-based toy and gift distributor, littleCONCEPTS and the Danish imaginative kids brand Crateit have secured a new and exclusive distribution partnership, which began on 1 January 2025.
Crateit has an innovative approach which transforms traditional toys into creative outlets to spark a child’s imagination and creativity.
With Crateit’s wooden toys, children can explore a world where rules don’t exist. Is the grass blue and the bunny yellow? Or perhaps there are flying whales and diamond beaches?
Founded by Tonny Kaagaard Olsen and Martin Wibe Kristensen in 2021, Crateit’s journey began in Odense, where a shared passion for making a difference brought Tonny and Martin together during their studies in innovation and entrepreneurship.
Tonny’s mother dedicated her life to working with people with developmental disabilities, and Martin has a sister-in-law with a chromosomal disorder. These personal experiences instilled a deep empathy and a commitment to social responsibility. This is evident through Crateit’s ethos of working with specialist production units in Denmark that employ people who have faced various challenges, including disabilities.
Crateit’s toys are all designed and produced in Denmark using wood from suppliers which are FSC certified.
littleCONCEPTS will be exhibiting at the Spring Fair on stand 5G13, where the full range of Crateit will be on display.
