Little Tikes puts out call for ‘Tikes Testers’

Mini recruits will be given the chance to put new and iconic toys to the test during lockdown.

Little Tikes is recruiting a panel of toy testers – called Tikes Testers – to help put some of the brand’s new and most iconic toys through their paces.

With the aim of giving the floor to kids and creating genuine and honest feedback from those who matter most, the launch is expected to generate a huge number of applications, and is now accepting entries.

20 children aged between six months and five years old have the chance to become part of the first Tikes Testers panel and get exclusive access to brand new products to launch and some long-standing favourites. The kids will also get to keep all the toys they test.

The lucky winner will be surprised with an exciting toy package to test out at home this lockdown, before their reviews are published on the Little Tikes website, alongside a selection of fun snaps from the toy testing.

To apply, parents have to share a photo of a special moment with their child on Instagram alongside a caption about what made the moment special, tag @officiallittletikesuk and include the hashtag #TikesTesters in the post.

“We make toys for kids so who better to test them out,” said Michelle Lilley, head of marketing UK at Little Tikes. “Whether kids play solo, with siblings, or with parents our huge range of toys are designed to inspire, spark creativity, help to educate and create a whole load of fun along the way.

“We’re excited to launch Tikes Testers at a time when play is more important than ever. We’re looking forward to getting our first panel testing out the toys and telling us what they think.”

Children should be aged six months to five years old and all details can be found on littletikes.co.uk. The lucky winners will be contacted on Instagram by February 21 and invited to be a Tikes Tester.
