Just under a week to go: Register now for the PPS Awards 2020

With less than one week to go before the Progressive Preschool Awards 2020, we have pulled together everything you need to know in order to sign up and join in with the industry’s biggest virtual get-together of the year.

With this year’s event now just seven days away, the final preparations for the virtual celebration of the whole of the UK’s preschool product and retail industry have been taking place.

The digital Hopin platform is free and easy to use.

Completely free to attend, the event will be held online from 6.15pm onwards on Thursday 12 November, via Hopin – an interactive online awards platform which will allow guests to network and chat between themselves in addition to watching the awards ceremony itself. It takes just two minutes to register, and will even remind you when the event is starting – get that ticked off today by clicking here.

Already, there are more guests registered to attend that can usually fit in the glorious ballroom of The Grosvenor Hotel in London, showing that there’s always an upside to any challenge, with guests including major retail names from John Lewis, Tesco, The Entertainer and more. Rob Willis, organiser of the PPS Awards said: “We’ve been thrilled to hear how many people are planning to ‘make a night of it’ next Thursday with their favourite drinks and treats, while finalists can’t wait to see their names on the screen being shown to the entire industry – it’s seriously exciting and has shown that no matter what, the sector loves to unite and celebrate.”

In addition to the traditional opening speeches, Alan Dedicoat – the famous ‘voice of the balls’ and Strictly Come Dancing – will also be taking us through the evening as the official finalists’ announcer. The evening will be replicating the traditional awards programme as closely as possible, even including the all-important ‘gold envelope moment’, with sponsors announcing the winners of each category.
