Joie introduces lie flat car cot

The Calmi R129 is designed to keep babies sleeping safely from the car to stroll and everywhere in between.

Tested against the R129 standards, the Calmi R129 provides increased side impact protection by positioning baby’s head at the safest point in the vehicle. The car cot keeps babies in the safest, 180 degree lie flat position and has an insert to keep newborns properly positioned at all times, supporting necks and spines.

The Calmi R129 pairs easily with Joie’s Aeria and Finiti pushchairs using adapters. It also feature a UPF 50+, water repellent canopy with added ventilation window.

In the car, the Calmi R129 pairs with the newly launched i-Base Encore, which uses ISOFIX connectors to lock to the vehicle’s anchor points. I-Base Encore gives rise to a new suite of Joie seats, which will be unveiled soon.

Calmi R129 is suitable for lie-flat lounging from 40-70cm and up to 9kg. The cot weighs 3.6kg and features removeable, machine washable covers and a three position adjustable handlebar with storage pockets on both the inside and the outside of the cot.

The three-point harness features smart details such as the ultra smooth release buttons and sleek adjustable carry handle.
