INDX buyers defy storms for successful show

Buyers travelling to last week’s INDX Kidswear 2020 defied the UK’s worst storm in a decade in order to make the journey, with record breaking pre-show registration numbers up by 16% on February 2019.

Unfortunately, the weather unfortunately curtailed the final attendance figures, which were lower than expected. Fortunately, those buyers that braved the weather had done so with the intent to place orders and so brands reported brisk order writing and a very busy couple of days.

The event also made the most of all four showrooms, with over 200 brands on offer.

“This is our first show with INDX Kidswear and we are very impressed with how many of our existing customers are here and the opportunities with new potential independent retailers,” said Katherine Brown, commercial director at Start-Rite. “The breadth and range of likeminded children’s brands makes this show a great match for us.”

Preparations for the July 2020 event, which will be taking place from Sunday 5 July to Monday 6 July, are already well underway.
