Hippychick adds Moby baby products to portfolio

Baby wearing expert Moby has revealed that, from 1 October, Hippychick will distribute its full range.

This includes the company’s best selling baby wraps, with the addition of some new products which will launch this autumn/winter.

Moby was previously distributed by Clever Clogs.

“We would like to thank Clever Clogs for their hard work over the past few years and look forward to the next chapter working with new partners Hippychick,” commented Ian Schaffer, ceo of Thrive International, which owns Moby. “Moby and Hippychick feel their strategies are closely aligned, with both companies committed to providing quality products and high service levels.

“Their knowledge of the category, with their market leading hip carrier, and relationships with retail partners make them the perfect partner for us.”

Jeremy Minchin, md of Hippychick, added: “We are delighted to have been asked to take on one of the leading brands in the baby and carrier market. We are always keen to strengthen our footprint in nursery and we see this as a really great step forward for both Hippychick and Moby.

“We are very fortunate to be inheriting a strong presence for the brand in the market from Clever Clogs and are excited about the new designs and fabrics which we will be showcasing at Harrogate Nursery Fair, stands Q66 & Q70.”
