Growth planned for Halilit’s wooden toy offering

Further lines to be added to Doron Layeled range after successful 2018.

Halilit has been enjoying success with its Doron Layeled wooden toy range this year – so much so, that a further five new photographic puzzles are due to be introduced in 2019.

The range has “performed brilliantly” according to Halilit’s md, Judith Stark, with the new additions including a parrot, puppy, kitten, duck and favourite animals puzzles.

“The Doron Layeled large peg puzzles and giant peg puzzles have continued to be popular, however we are really impressed at the great start the new picture puzzles have got off to this year,” continued Judith. “Featuring a butterfly, a rooster, a rabbit and a fish, these real photographic image peg puzzles have proven a real hit.”

Judith believes that there has been a “definite and considerable” shift back to the more traditional wooden toy by parents and gift givers.

“Environmental concerns married with a desire for toys with developmental value have ensured that the popularity of wooden toys is on the rise, and is a definite hot topic for retailers to look out for,” she commented.
