Retail group The Entertainer is building upon its existing relationship with Fundamentally Children for the company’s upcoming Balancing Play campaign.
The multi-faceted initiative, which is launching this month, is designed to promote healthy play and provide expert advice for parents, while also promoting Good Toys and the importance of play.
The activity will begin with a consumer research study carried out by the expert team at Fundamentally Children with parents in the UK and US. It will look at the challenges faced by parents and carers and will offer expert advice and solutions to those barriers.
A calendar of events will also be taking place to boost awareness of the Balanced Play message. Fundamentally Children’s Good Toy Zone will be touring various family festivals, while The Entertainer will be hosting a series of events in-store throughout the summer for children to enjoy.
“We are excited to be partnering with The Entertainer to promote the Balanced Play message,” said Dr Amanda Gummer. “The extra marketing and activity arranged by the team will provide a huge support to all suppliers with Good Toys stocked in The Entertainer and we are thrilled to be able to work with The Entertainer to further support our clients and communicate the importance of play.”
Gary Grant added: “We’re delighted to be teaming up with Fundamentally Children on this exciting campaign. Play is a huge part of childhood learning and education, which is why we’re so passionate about ensuring our stores offer the perfect environment for children to browse the latest toys and have the opportunity to play.”
