Dr Gummer’s Good Play Guide responds to coronavirus lockdown

Dr Gummer’s Good Play Guide has pledged its support for millions of students across the world who are currently missing out on vital early years education because their towns and cities have been placed in lockdown.

Nearly 300 million students globally are currently experiencing disrupted education due to the recent coronavirus outbreak. But the independent, expert organisation says that learning doesn’t have to come to a grinding halt while the pandemic passes.

In response to the current situation, Dr Gummer’s Good Play Guide has created a comprehensive set of resources and schedule of webinars to support families with children who are currently out of school.

“The information packs include developmentally beneficial ideas for activities and games children can engage with, that will support their learning and help them stay curious, creative and engaged during these uncertain times,” commented arketing and events coordinator Lauren Archer.

The resources will be available for free download from GoodPlayGuide.com, while webinars will be streamed worldwide. Webinar schedules will be announced on @GoodPlayGuide social channels once they have been confirmed.
