Consumer baby roadshow concept launches

A brand new concept for consumer baby shows is launching this summer, with a travelling pop-up dome hosting The Pregnancy & Baby Fair Roadshow.

The travelling baby show will combine a hi-tech set-up with low costs, offering what its organisers describe as ‘the ultimate customer and brand experience’.

A state-of-the-art custom-built dome will travel around the UK, utilising ‘smart’ wristband technology to ensure an engaging and seamless customer/brand experience.

An estimated 5,000 customers will benefit from themed shopping sections and ‘one-swipe’ payment systems at each event, while brands will be able take advantage of reduced costs and targeted product demonstrations.

Held in the grounds of heritage country houses, castles and stately homes across the UK, the five dates for 2018 are:

21 – 22 July 2018 – Bodrhyddan Hall, North Wales
18 – 19 August 2018 – Belvoir Castle, Leicestershire
1 – 2 September 2018 – Englefield House, Berkshire
15 – 16 September 2018 – Goodnestone Park, Kent
13 – 14 October 2018 – Powderham Castle, Devon

Founder and midwife Katie Hilton commented on her new venture: “Over the last few years I have presented at many baby shows. While they are all fantastic places to be, I felt there was an opportunity for something new and fresh to come along. I had a vision of what I wanted my baby shows to look like and have worked very hard to bring that to reality.”

She continued; “From the specialised dome to smart wristband technology, the entire show is designed to ensure brands can engage with and excite the consumer.”

The Pregnancy & Baby Fair Roadshow will also be working with Lovedbyparents (media partner) and family-specialist PR agency Azaria.

“We are thrilled to be partnering with the Pregnancy and Baby Show this year,” said Lovedbyparents ceo, Tina Summers. “Parents are at the heart of everything we do and we are delighted to be part of this new and innovative concept that the show will bring to parents-to-be.”
