Toy, nursery and preschool product retailers: Nominate yourselves for the PPS Awards

The Progressive Preschool Awards 2020 are now open for entries, with this year’s entry and judging process moving entirely online in order to ensure an opportunity to maintain high entry and judging levels.

PrintUK toy, nursery and preschool product retailers are encouraged to nominate themselves via the brand new website and online entry portal that has been launched to act as the main hub for all Progressive Preschool Awards 2020 entries and judging for this year. The easy-to-use website will allow all entries and judging to take place online – a process that takes just two minutes to register and around five minutes per entry.

This year perhaps more than ever, the preschool aged product and retail sector has been continuing to invent, innovative and thrive, making it crucial that retailers have the opportunity to be rewarded and recognised for their efforts over the past 12 months. Winning a PPS Award would be a positive end to a brutally difficult year for retailers. Past retail category winner Fran Bishop, founder of The Pud Store said: “I know from my own experience that being recognised in a national set of awards makes every effort so much more worthwhile – winning a PPS Award elevated myself and my entire team – it also gave us great local coverage and increased footfall – I nominate ourselves every year just in case suppliers don’t!”

Confirming the excitement of picking up a highly-coveted PPS Awards trophy is Phil Geary, chief marketing officer at The Entertainer: “We were delighted to pick up Best Multiple Retailer of Preschool Product for the second year running!  With our previous acquisition of Early Learning Centre our preschool offering has gone from strength to strength and we’re delighted that this has been recognised with a Progressive Preschool Award!”

Now an essential date in the calendar for suppliers and retailers across toy, nursery, gift, apparel, publishing and licensing industries, the PPS Awards have become accolades to strive for, with the event itself bringing together the entire preschool sector for an afternoon of celebration.

The winners will be announced on the afternoon of Tuesday 3 November 2020 in the Ballroom of The Grosvenor House Hotel in London’s Mayfair.
