Bandai adds to CocoMelon toy line following sales success

New additions follow January’s NPD data ranking of CoComelon as the number one New Infant/Toddler Licence for the month and number four in the same category YTD.

Bandai UK has revealed its new line-up of CoComelon toys following January’s NPD data ranking of CoComelon as the number one New Infant/Toddler Licence for the month and number four in the same category year to date.

The CoComelon licensed toy range – manufactured by Jazwares and distributed in the UK and Europe by Bandai UK – launched in AW20 and has developed into SS21 with a collection of new skus. These including First Act Instruments, a Musical Tractor, new educational collectables and a fresh wave of plush.

“We saw an amazing reaction to the range during the toy fair season of 2020 and then again during our autumn launch period, so we always knew that we had a winning collection on our hands,” said Nic Aldridge, md at Bandai UK. “It’s fantastic to see CoComelon cited as the top-ranking Infant/Toddler Licence in the latest NPD results.

“I have always had great confidence that the fantastic product range from our partners Jazwares would do well, as they have a significant focus on development and learning. We are thrilled to move into 2021 with an even wider offering of innovative, themed, fun, educational toys to engage preschoolers and extend their enjoyment of the show.”

CoComelon – which has the largest kids’ channel on YouTube with over 100 million subscribers – teaches children how to take on everyday activities and role models positive behaviour with a sense of enthusiasm. Kids can relate to the universal themes and everyday narratives such as eating your vegetables, learning to tie your shoes and getting ready for bed.
