Bambino Mio reveals spike in demand for reusable products

Nursery company Bambino Mio has revealed a spike in consumer demand for reusable baby and toddler products such as nappies, wipes and training pants over the past few weeks.

While working from home following the Covid-19 restrictions, the Bambino Mio team is also stepping up to ensure operations continue to run as smoothly as possible, particularly for a number of products which have seen an ‘exceptionally high’ volume of orders.

“At Bambino Mio, the health and well-being of our team, our customers and our wider community is our absolute priority. We will continue to follow guidance and review appropriate policies as necessary,” said founder and managing director Guy Schanschieff.

“Our reusable nappies, miofresh, reusable wipes and reusable potty training pants in particular, are in extremely high demand at this time,” he continued. “Around the world, our distribution channels including supermarkets, pharmacies and independents have reported a significant uplift. Bambino Mio’s website sales have also increased significantly week-on-week and we are confident in our ability to meet this demand to support our customers.”

“The good news is that reusable nappies and accessories provide a product solution to the panic buying problem that consumers have been facing. More parents are opting for reusable products because they are convenient as they can use, wash and reuse our products in the comfort of their own home.”
