Carrier and nursery company BabyBjörn has launched A Love Manifesto; a new consumer-focused campaign which aims to support new parents by focusing on the ‘powerful love that comes with parenthood’.
The initiative has been developed to support the launch of the latest BabyBjörn carriers, the One and the One Air. The new carriers have been developed with input from real families, along with expert paediatricians and babywearing practitioners.
The Love Manifesto dedicated to all parents and aims to empower new mums and dads to have faith in their own instincts, set their own standards and develop their own unique parenting style. The manifesto consists of three simple guidelines:
* Trust yourself
* Create your own rules
* Invent your own parenting
“Motherhood is all about creating your own rules,” says Sagal, one of BabyBjörn’s campaign champions. “Everything is going to be fine because it is your child and you know your child best. No-one has the perfect say on parenting. You have to make up your own rules along the journey.”
BabyBjörn hopes that the campaign will go some way towards counteracting the unrealistic expectations and demands which put a lot of pressure on parents, particularly ‘millennial mums’.
