Aldi aiming to fuel role-play with new wooden toy line

New Special Buy collection includes a mini wooden version of an Aldi supermarket.

Aldi has unveiled a new wooden toy collection – which even includes a mini wooden version of an Aldi supermarket.

New to the range for this year – and available exclusively online – the Wooden Aldi Supermarket includes a counter with conveyor belt, customer spacer, card reader and card, play money, cardboard sign and paper shopping bag.

Children can also cook up a storm with a choice of Wooden Grocery Sets – including the option to buy Aldi’s own brand selection of products – while also new is the Wooden Kitchen Diner which comes with spoon, spatula, open/closed sign, sink, microwave, dishwasher, oven, temperature dials and chalkboard.

There is also a Toy Vanity Table, Stool and Accessories, plus a Wooden Pirate Ship.

The Wooden Toy Kitchen comes equipped with everything a mini budding chef needs including a sink with taps, microwave, oven, two spinning cooking hobs and a chalk board. The kitchen also comes with salt and pepper pots, a clock and utensils, and this can be further expanded with the Wooden Kitchen Accessories and Wooden Kettle and Mug or Tableware Set.

Completing the collection is a Wooden Ironing Set which comes with an iron and a foldable patterned ironing board.
