Nickelodeon bolsters preschool offering

Licensor continuing to invest in new properties following bumper 2017.

Having enjoyed a strong 2017 – which saw Nickelodeon ending the year as the number one kids’ network – the brand owner isn’t resting on its laurels with new properties launching in the preschool space, as well as further activity on favourites such as PAW Patrol and Nella the Princess Knight.

As outlined in a special publication – which comes with the latest edition of Progressive Preschool magazine and can be viewed by clicking here – Nickelodeon has high hopes for new properties Sunny Day and Top Wing.

Sunny Day follows the adventures of the eponymous character – a talented 10 year old who runs her own hair salon in Friendly Falls. As well as the show itself, a live action hair tutorial follows the end of every episode on Nick Jr.

Consumer products are due to launch from autumn/winter 2019.

Meanwhile, Top Wing premiered in the US on Nick Jr in November and launches in the UK this month. The action adventure series follows a team of eager young birds training at the Top Wing Academy.

Find out more about both brands in the special publication.

You can also read about updates to the CP programmes for PAW Patrol, Shimmer and Shine, Blaze and the Monster Machines, Nella the Princess Knight and Rusty Rivets.
